Rosario Ortega Ruiz (University of Cordoba)


Rosario Ortega Ruiz is Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Córdoba. She has more than 25 years research experience on interpersonal relations and development of social and emotional competences. She is expert on children’s play and social knowledge construction, bullying and cyber-bullying, as well a dating violence. She is Principal Investigator of the Laboratory of Studies on Convivencia and Violence Prevention (laecovi.com) and former Vice President of the International Observatory on School Violence. She has published more than one hundred and fifty scientific articles and other peer reviewed publications.

She is member of the Evaluation Panel of the European Research Council – Consolidator / Early Grants. She has been reviewer of a number of EU and Spanish Agencies for Research, including ANECA, ANEP, CNEAI and the National R & D Plan. She has been director of the Postgraduate Research Programme and the PhD Central Council of the University of Cordoba for 10 years.
